Summary

Wedastra helps you plan weddings and coordinate guests, budgets, events, and logistics. We collect only the data needed to provide the service. You control what you share, and you can delete your account at any time in the app.

Data We Collect

  • Account data: phone number, email (if provided), name, and profile photo.
  • Wedding data you create: events, guests, groups, tasks, budgets, vendors, rooms, and notes.
  • Contacts: if you import contacts, we read contacts you select to help build your guest list.
  • Attachments: receipts, documents, and images you upload.
  • Device and usage data: crash reports, analytics events, and push notification tokens.
  • Place lookups: if you search places, we process the place details you choose.

How We Use Data

  • Provide core features like guest management, budgeting, and logistics.
  • Send notifications you enable (e.g., reminders).
  • Improve reliability via crash reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Prevent abuse and secure the service.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as hosting, messaging, analytics, and crash reporting services. Examples include Supabase (backend), Firebase (notifications/analytics), Sentry (crash reporting), and Google (sign-in/places).

If you send invites, phone numbers may be sent to messaging providers to deliver those invites.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in-app. Some records may be retained for security, legal, or operational reasons, or as part of shared wedding data where other members still need access.

Your Choices

  • Control permissions for contacts, photos, and notifications in device settings.
  • Delete your account at any time in the app.
