Delete your Wedastra data

You can delete your account from Wedastra or send us a verified request. This page also explains what happens to shared wedding information and social-platform content.

Last updated: July 16, 2026

Option 1: Delete from the app

  • Sign in to Wedastra on web, iOS, or Android.
  • Open Settings, then the Account section.
  • Select Delete account, review the warning, and confirm.
  • If you administer a wedding, transfer any responsibility you need to preserve or delete the wedding workspace first.

Option 2: Email a deletion request

Email developer.wedastra@gmail.com with the subject “Wedastra Data Deletion Request”. Send the request from the email associated with your account when possible and include your account phone number, the wedding name, and whether you want your account, a guest response, or an entire wedding workspace deleted.

Do not send your password, one-time code, access token, or copies of identity documents unless we specifically request a safe verification method.

What happens next

  • We verify the request so another person cannot delete your information.
  • We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days, or explain why additional time or information is required.
  • Account and workspace records are removed or de-identified, except limited records retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or reliable backup expiry.
  • Backup copies are isolated from normal use and expire according to the backup retention cycle.
  • We send confirmation when the request is complete.

Shared wedding and guest information

Deleting an account does not automatically delete information another organizer lawfully controls in a shared wedding, such as a guest entry, event, or audit record. Ask the wedding organizer or contact us if you need a specific record corrected or removed. Deleting the final authorized wedding administrator may require deleting or transferring the workspace first.

Meta, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn data

  • Revoke Wedastra access from the connected platform’s business or app settings.
  • Email us if you want stored Page, organization, authorization, post, or metric records removed from Wedastra.
  • Posts already published on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn must also be deleted on that platform. Removing Wedastra’s stored record does not remove a third-party public post.
