Privacy Policy
Wedastra helps families plan a wedding in one private workspace. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to account holders, wedding organizers, and guests.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the Wedastra website, mobile applications, wedding-planning workspace, public RSVP experiences, support channels, and the owner-operated Wedastra Marketing Studio. A wedding organizer controls the planning information they invite family members and guests to use.
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile data: phone number, email address when provided, name, authentication records, role, and account preferences.
- Wedding-planning data: household and guest details, invitations, RSVP responses, events, rituals, tasks, budgets, vendors, rooms, transport, files, notes, and other content entered by authorized users.
- Public-response data: information a guest submits through an invitation or RSVP link.
- Technical and security data: device and browser information, network identifiers, timestamps, diagnostic events, and audit records used to secure and operate the service.
- Support and feedback: messages, attachments, and other information you choose to send us.
- Social-publishing data: Wedastra-owned Page or organization identifiers, authorization status, post identifiers, and aggregate post performance. Wedding, household, and guest data is not used as social content.
3. How we use information
- Provide, synchronize, personalize, and support the Wedastra service.
- Authenticate users, enforce wedding and household permissions, and maintain audit history.
- Deliver invitations, reminders, announcements, and support responses requested by authorized users.
- Protect accounts, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve product reliability and create optional planning suggestions. AI-assisted features may process only the information needed for the requested task and their output should be reviewed by a person.
- Operate Wedastra’s own reviewed social posts and measure aggregate performance.
Wedastra does not sell personal information or wedding guest lists.
4. How information is shared
Information is shared only with people authorized for the relevant wedding or household, with a guest responding to their own invitation, or with service providers that help us run authentication, databases, storage, hosting, messaging, security, support, and optional AI-assisted features. Providers may process information only for the service they supply to Wedastra and under appropriate safeguards.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect a person or the service, or as part of a business transaction with notice and protections appropriate to the circumstances.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account or wedding workspace is active and as reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and reliable backups. Account holders can request deletion at any time. Wedding organizers may also remove members, guests, or an entire wedding workspace.
Details and alternative request steps are available on the Data Deletion page.
6. Your choices and rights
- Review and update profile and planning information available to your account.
- Leave a wedding or ask its organizer to correct or remove guest information.
- Request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights.
- Revoke a connected social platform’s access through that platform’s settings.
- Contact us about a privacy concern or appeal a request decision.
7. Security and international processing
Wedastra uses access controls, encrypted transport, server-side credentials, scoped storage, logging, and review gates designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, so users should keep credentials private and report suspected misuse promptly. Service providers may process data in other countries subject to contractual, technical, and legal safeguards.
8. Children
Wedastra is not directed to children under 13. Adults organizing a wedding are responsible for entering guest information lawfully and for obtaining any consent required for a minor’s information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. The current version and effective date will always be posted here, and material changes will receive additional notice when appropriate.
